We Receive Extra Training To Better Treat Young Smiles
Pediatric dentists receive two to three years of additional training beyond dental school to learn how to care for young children. This added training helps us both learn how to better care for a child’s growing teeth and make them feel comfortable during the process.
Dental anxiety is common among children—especially if they’ve never visited the dentist before. Whether their apprehension is caused by fear of the unknown, a scary story told by a friend or older sibling, or a negative previous experience, we understand their concerns and are trained to work with them to offer the most enjoyable visit possible.
